Rafael Gonzalez cigar brand was initially developed as La Flor de Marquez from 1928, but the trademark was registered only in 1936, under the same name. La Flor de Marquez became shortly a popular cigar brand on Spanish market. This is a premium, mid-strength cigar brand, presented in a beautiful and nice wrapper colors. Taking into consideration the medium-size body, this cigar brand is also alleged to have introduced the Lonsdale size, named in honour of Hugh Cecil Lowther, the Fifth Earl of Lonsdale.
